Nominal
Power:
The H/S line of Azur Tracker ranges from 5 kWp to 9,6 kWp.
Sizes:
Starting at a mid-sized 20 panels and 26m² of panel surface
for the 5kW Model,
and 48 panels with 63m² of panel surface and 9,6kWp on the
top end,
solar tracking arrays meet the demand for high-power applications.
Masts are available in various heights at steps of 50cm. Standard
versions
have a distance of 0,5m, 2,5m, or 4,5m between the lowest point
of the
array and ground level.
Control
system:
The active tracking system is based on a 3-dimensional map
of the trajectory of the sun, correlated with the latitude of the
installation site. A separate data logger provides a choice of
various means of remote data access and alarm notification
systems, including GSM, Internet or Fax.
Automatic reset:
After sunset, the solar tracking array automatically returns to
its starting position
facing east and awaits the new sunrise.
Additional Yield
Active 2-axis tracking can yield up to 40% more electric power than
an equally-sized fixed installation would produce.

Protection
An
anemometer constantly measures the wind speeds. If wind speeds exceed
20m/s (72km/h) , the control system
triggers a protection mode and the solar tracking array Mover assumes
a near 0°-Position, so that a dynamic stress overload of the
structure is avoided.
Foundation
The standard concrete foundation is 2.7 by 2.7m square. The depth
is a function of the type of soil on site and will be dimensioned
respectively. To make sure the base is sufficiently strong, a static
report of the ground conditions has to be carried out prior to the
installation.
Structure:
The
mast and support structure is made of galvanized steel, combining
superior strength with a durable corrosion protection. The PV-panels
are mounted on first grade Aluminum EN AW 6060 T66 mounting rails
and fastened with aluminum clamps and stainless steel fastening
elements.
Drives
The
270° azimuth rotation is performed by a generously dimensioned,
low maintenance electric IMO® - Drive with a high reduction gear
ratio, witch provides solid support and a smooth motion.
The
90° elevation angle is adjusted by an equally simple, yet strong
combination of rack and pinion design with electric gear drive.
